DKS Edu is the final day of the Digital Kids Show. On November 20th we will welcome over 600 schools from around the UK for a day of debates, seminar sessions and keynote speeches from eminent speakers.
This unique platform will demonstrate ways to combat online dangers in the classroom, encourage pupils to embrace STEM subjects and introduce education leaders to the benefits of connecting with pupils via gaming, YouTube and all that the digital world offers.
“The rapid increase in the amount of time children spend online means keeping them safe from harm is a moving target. Having worked in the tech industry for over 25 years, and now as minister for internet safety and security, I continue to be amazed by the breakneck speed at which new and exciting developments are being made and new platforms and apps inspire and consume more and more of our children’s attention. Technology offers endless benefits and possibilities, especially to children. But while it empowers the curious, the creative, and the compassionate it also empowers the criminal, the corrupt, and the coercive..”

Thank you for getting funding so as a small school head teacher I am able to attend from Norfolk with my Assistant head teacher
Mr Grahams, Head Teacher
The fact that the seminar sessions were oversubscribed tells you how well this event is managed and how selective they are about the companies they get on board. Well done for another great conference, I look forward to next year
I like the fact that the exhibitors are interested in what I do. Yes they have products to promote but they take the time to speak to delegates about their role and how using their product or service can improve the safety of children online, it’s nothing like other expos where you just pick up free stuff and wander around aimlessly
STATE FUNDED SCHOOLS AND ACADEMIES CAN ATTEND THE DKS EDU DAY FREE OF CHARGE. BOOK YOUR PLACE HERE BY USING YOUR WORK EMAIL ADDRESS.
