Where is the Digital Kids Show being held?

The Digital Kids Show is being held at EventCity which is easily located by all major transport networks around Manchester. There are 3000 FREE car parking spaces and traffic wardens will be onsite to ensure your arrival at the show is smooth. There is also overflow parking available at the Trafford Centre which is a five-minute walk from the venue.

Opening Times

  • Digital Kids Show will take place on November 18th & 19th for families and 20th for Schools.
  • Doors will open at 10am for advance ticket holders.
  • On the door sales will begin at 11am(if available). All attendees must wear a wristband at all times.

Travel Information

Nearest EventCity bus-stops

There are two bus stops within five minutes walking distance of EventCity (see map) which are serviced by the following:

  • Manchester City Centre’s Express Service X50. The Trafford Centre’s high frequency express bus link leaving Piccadilly Gardens Bus Station Stand K every 15 minutes from early until late (via MediaCityUK and MUFC).
  • Stagecoach Manchester Bus Service 250. The Trafford Centre’s high frequency bus link direct from Piccadilly Gardens Bus Station Stand K every 15 minutes from early until late (via MUFC and Manchester University).
  • The Trafford Centre Bus Station (end of Regent Crescent). This is approx 10 minutes walk from EventCity (see map) and serviced by bus routes from all over Greater Manchester. There are frequent buses providing a connection every five minutes (services 18, 247, 250 and X50) from the bus station to EventCity.

  • From Manchester Piccadilly – Bus services X50 or 250 from Piccadilly Gardens Bus Station (see bus info) descending at the nearest EventCity bus stop.
  • From Manchester Victoria – Bus service 100 every 12 minutes or 110 every 20 minutes descending at The Trafford Centre Bus Station.
  • Salford Crescent – Bus service 100 (bus stop located on the A6 above the station) which runs every 12 minutes descending at The Trafford Centre Bus Station.
  • Urmston – Bus services 22 and 23 every 15 minutes from Urmston (bus stop is 100 yards from the station outside the Sainsbury’s superstore) descending at The Trafford Centre Bus Station.

Tram service every 20 minutes from early until late to Stretford Metrolink Tram station and take The Trafford Centre Metrolink Shuttle Bus ML1.

From Manchester International Airport (10 miles)

  • By car – Join the M56, then M60 (westbound) exiting at Junctions 9 or 10.
  • By bus – Service 18 runs frequently direct to The Trafford Centre Bus Station (visit www.traffordcentre/getting here).

From Liverpool John Lennon Airport (30 miles)

  • By car – Join the A5300 at the airport, then take the M62 (eastbound) to the M60. Follow the M60 (westbound), exiting at junctions 9 or 10.

EventCity is conveniently located close to junctions 9 and 10 on the M60, making it very accessible to car users. EventCity has over 3000 free car parking spaces on-site and there is additional free parking at The Trafford Centre (see map). The sat nav reference is M17 8AS.

How much are tickets?

Standard Tickets are: £25.00 each + booking fee.

Standard Family Tickets (for 4 people) are: £85 each + booking fee.

There are a limited number of Early Bird tickets available. Get them whilst you can!

Can I attend if I don’t have children with me?

Unfortunately not; if you are not with a child or part of a family, this event isn’t for you. Entry is restricted to adults accompanied by at least one child.

What’s included in the ticket price?

Standard Tickets include all features, stage shows and activities* subject to timing restrictions. The only thing you will have to pay for is food, beverages and any of the products you wish to purchase.

Will we be able to Meet & Greet YouTubers?

Yes. Standard Ticket holders will be able to Meet & Greet their favourite YouTubers (except Ali-A and Clare Siobhan) subject to timing restrictions. Please visit the Live Show Schedule

Only Golden Ticket holders and VIP Ticket holders will be able to Meet & Greet Ali-A and Clare Siobhan. A VIP Ticket ‘upgrade’ will be offered on a first come, first served basis to existing ticket holders first before going on general sale (subject to availability). More details coming soon.

Is there a discount for group/bulk ticket purchases?

Yes. For groups of 10 or more, we offer a group discount. Please email with details of how many places you would like to secure.

Do I need a ticket for my baby/toddler?

Children under 2 are free to attend, but require a free ticket to enter. If your child is 2 or over, you must purchase a paid ticket.

Will those who buy tickets in advance get priority?

Buying in advance secures the best possible price. Doors open at 10:00am for advance ticket holders. Entry is from 11:00am for those without advance tickets.

Do I have to pay an additional booking fee for my ticket?

Yes there is a small additional booking fee per ticket, please check the ticket site for the exact cost.

I’ve bought a ticket but now I can’t make it. Can I have a refund?

Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Are there any age restrictions at the show?

The age range for the show is 2-17 but we will have some games (which will be clearly marked) that will only be for 16 years olds and over. The show will not feature any games suitable for over 18 year olds. Parents are advised to guide their family to the areas that are the most appropriate for their family’s age ranges and needs. Around 95 per cent of the shows features are suitable for all age ranges.

Please note, those with very young children should be mindful of the fact some of the theatres will be very loud.

What time should I arrive?

Please arrive in your own time. Tickets purchased in advance will give you access to the show for the entire day. Tickets on the door will be available from 11:00am and priced at £30 for a Standard Ticket.

Is there somewhere to get food?

There will be food outlets for the full duration of the show that will provide hot, cold and alcoholic drinks, as well as hot and cold food. The Trafford Centre is also within easy walking distance and has a large food court with fast food and restaurant dining.

There will be water boiling facilities to warm baby food and pouches but we cannot guarantee the use of a microwave.

Will there be changing facilities for babies and toddlers?

Yes, there will be changing facilities available for babies and toddlers. If you run out, one of our staff members will be happy to provide you with nappy cream, wipes and nappies.

Will there be WIFI available?

Yes there is public WIFI at the event.

Can I take photographs and videos at the event?

Personal photography is permitted but all professional photographers must hold a valid press pass issued by the event organiser. Entry without a child is strictly limited to press only.

How do I get a press pass?

A limited number of press passes will be made available. Please contact for further information. We operate a strict press pass policy which must be adhered to at all time.
