Where is the Digital Kids Show being held and how do I get there?

The Digital Kids Show is being held at EventCity which is easily located by all major transport networks around Manchester. There are 3000 FREE car parking spaces and traffic wardens will be onsite to ensure your arrival at the show is smooth. There is also overflow parking available at the Trafford Centre which is a five-minute walk from the venue.

 

What are the dates and opening times for the Digital Kids Show?

Digital Kids Show will take place on November 18th & 19th for families and 20th for Schools.

Doors will open at 10am for advance ticket holders.

On the door sales will begin at 11am. All attendees must wear a wristband at all times.

 

How much are tickets?

Standard Tickets are: £25.00 each + booking fee.

Standard Family Tickets (for 4 people) are: £80 each + booking fee.

There are a limited number of Early Bird tickets available. Get them whilst you can!

Do you offer carers tickets or discounts?

If you are in receipt of DLA for looking after a family member who wishes to attend or you are a paid helper, we can allocate you a carers ticket. Please email info@digitalkidsshow.co.uk with the subject field Carers Ticket.

Can I attend if I don’t have children with me?

No. If you are not with a child or part of a family, this event isn’t for you. Entry is restricted to adults accompanied by at least one child.

 

What’s included in the ticket price?

Tickets include all features, stage shows and activities*. The only thing you will have to pay for is food, beverages and any of the products you wish to purchase.

Meet & Greets (autograph and photo opportunity)

Due to the popularity of some YouTubers, we will be holding a weekly ballot for ticket holders to win a meet & greet opportunity with them. All ticket holders will be entered each week (starting Thursday 22nd June). Winners will be drawn on a per booking/order number. VIP Upgrades will be offered to existing ticket holders via email closer to the event. Due to timing limitations, these will be very limited and will be sold on a first come first served basis. A VIP Upgrade will guarantee a meet & greet with the YouTubers.

All other meet & greet opportunities are subject to Health & Safety and timing restrictions.

Is there a discount for group/bulk ticket purchases?

Yes. For groups of 10 or more, we offer a group discount. Please email info@digitalkidshow.co.uk with details of how many places you would like to secure.

 

Do I need a ticket for my baby/toddler?

Children under 2 are free to attend, but require a free ticket to enter. If your child is 2 or over, you must purchase a paid ticket.

 

Will those who buy tickets in advance get priority?

Buying in advance secures the best possible price. Doors open at 10:00am for advance ticket holders. Entry is from 11:00am for those without advance tickets.

 

Do I have to pay an additional booking fee for my ticket?

Yes there is a small additional booking fee per ticket, please check the ticket site for the exact cost.

 

I’ve bought a ticket but now I can’t make it. Can I have a refund?

Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.

 

Are there any age restrictions at the show?

The age range for the show is 2-17 but we will have some games (which will be clearly marked) that will only be for 16 years olds and over. The show will not feature any games suitable for over 18 year olds. Parents are advised to guide their family to the areas that are the most appropriate for their family’s age ranges and needs. Around 95 per cent of the shows features are suitable for all age ranges.

Please note, those with very young children should be mindful of the fact some of the theatres will be very loud.

 

What time should I arrive?

Please arrive in your own time. Tickets purchased in advance will give you access to the show for the entire day. Tickets on the door will be available from 11:00am and priced at £30 for a Standard Ticket.

 

Is there somewhere to get food?

There will be food outlets for the full duration of the show that will provide hot, cold and alcoholic drinks, as well as hot and cold food. The Trafford Centre is also within easy walking distance and has a large food court with fast food and restaurant dining.

There will be water boiling facilities to warm baby food and pouches but we cannot guarantee the use of a microwave.

 

Will there be changing facilities for babies and toddlers?

Yes, there will be changing facilities available for babies and toddlers. If you run out, one of our staff members will be happy to provide you with nappy cream, wipes and nappies.

 

Will there be WIFI available?

Yes there is public WIFI at the event.

 

Can I take photographs and videos at the event?

Personal photography is permitted but all professional photographers must hold a valid press pass issued by the event organiser. Entry without a child is strictly limited to press only.

 

How do I get a press pass?

A limited number of press passes will be made available. Please contact info@digitalkidsshow.co.uk for further information. We operate a strict press pass policy which must be adhered to at all time.
