This unique platform will demonstrate ways to embrace educational apps, combat online dangers in the classroom and encourage pupils to understand why STEM subjects are crucial for their future prosperity. Education Day Summary

DKS Edu – Inspiring Future Digital Leaders promotes digital skills for the future. As a social enterprise we work hard to assist schools to keep students safe online, introduce them to industry partners who can show them new and emerging technologies and work with them and pupils to embrace a digital future.

We provide complimentary places for school. We ask that each school registers two senior members of staff and up to 30 pupils. One of these pupils should be a head boy, head girl, anti-bullying ambassador or a pupil they wish to train as an anti-bullying ambassador.

Throughout the day, students will enjoy educational activities they can get hands on with and we welcome their input in debates and workshops – after all, it’s the children we want to inspire!

For teachers, we have experts on hand to show you the latest developments and products that can inspire future digital leaders.

Below are details of what you can expect to see at the DKS Edu day.

Keynote Speeches and Debates

We have an exciting lineup of eminent speakers who will be discussing everything from online safety to encouraging your pupils to embrace STEM careers through gaming. More details of the line up to follow.

Workshop Sessions

Each school will have the opportunity to attend three seminar sessions throughout the day. These sessions will be hosted by industry leaders who can assist your school to be the best in the digital world.

Exhibition

DKS Edu will play host to companies who are at the cutting edge what every school in the UK needs. From pupil monitoring software to educational games, resources and guidance, teachers will leave the event gaining a wealth of knowledge about new and emerging technology for the classroom.

Excellent event, went away feeling slightly overwhelmed but knowing I have help to access out there.”

IT Leader and Head of Computing , Salisbury Primary School

I like the fact that the exhibitors are interested in what I do. Yes they have products to promote but they take the time to speak to delegates about their role and how using their product or service can improve the safety of children online, it’s nothing like other expos where you just pick up free stuff and wander around aimlessly
Head Teacher

“Thank you for getting funding so as a small school head teacher I am able to attend from Norfolk with my Assistant head teacher”
